Welcome.
The Barossa Community Labyrinth was a community project of love, patience and resilience.
Beginning in 2009, a group of local people who had an interest in the creative, artistic and health benefits associated with labyrinths and mindful walking, began the journey of bringing a public labyrinth to the Barossa Valley, South Australia. Volunteering their time and assorted skills to the project, the group members brought distinctive perspectives and backgrounds to the project; arts, education, healthcare, community development, social justice and a general passion for mindfulness and meditation.
With completion of the Barossa Community Labyrinth achieved in October 2018, the 9-year project was full of as many twists and turns as the labyrinth path itself. But as the labyrinth teaches us; trust the path, put one foot in front of the other and you will reach the centre.
